001 ❊ the dance of entropy : musings on life's great complexity
I find myself engulfed in thoughts that I feel compelled to share. It is a reflection on the very essence of our existence and the universe that surrounds us.
Imagine this moment happening in our lives. It unfolds in a specific way, out of an endless array of possibilities. Among the infinite configurations and arrangements, our senses perceive this particular instance. A plethora of potential experiences exists simultaneously, yet what we choose to focus on becomes our reality. As such, our attention, in its limited capacity, can only grasp a minuscule fraction of the vastness that is.

Within the confines of our minds, amidst the intricate workings of our brain, we're constantly filtering, processing, and prioritising. As our brain juggles its myriad responsibilities, it inevitably sidelines numerous possibilities, rendering us oblivious to them.
It’s akin to explaining the concept of colour to someone who has never seen. In this context, our perception is not comprehensive; we merely experience a sliver of the grand tapestry of reality.

I pondered: did the Buddha, in his profound wisdom, grasp this concept during his lifetime? The realisation and manifestation of this knowledge, coupled with the ability to perceive things in their truest form, seems to resonate with his teachings.
His path appeared to be a journey towards higher entropy, embracing the randomness and chaos inherent in the universe.

Entropy, as I see it, is the universe's natural direction. Aligning with its wisdom can never lead us astray. If I were to embrace this philosophy of entropy in my life, what transformations might I witness? My emotions — my inner compass — may serve as a guide. We’ll see.
A larger question remains however : how might my actions bring this philosophy to life?

As I delve deeper into these reflections, I am increasingly convinced that the essence of life lies in this pursuit of entropy. It beckons us towards randomness and chaos, promising an experience that is truly representative of life's vastness.
Through this lens, I seek answers to the fundamental questions of our existence:
What is this life that we live, encapsulated within our corporeal forms of bones, blood, and muscle?
What is its purpose?

It seems to me that, understanding life means tracing this path of entropy. By attuning to the universe's direction towards randomness, I believe we can unlock profound insights into the nature of our existence.
Hi,
I am Sanket.
Life, through my lens, has been a beautiful experience. Sharing it? That's been harder.
This time, I jotted scattered thoughts into my Notes app, then refined them with ChatGPT. Doing so, has allowed me this chance of sharing it with you in a beautiful way. This feels nice.
An odd blend of human heart and AI craft, weaving feelings into stories — sounds exciting to me. I share these thoughts with you hoping they resonate or perhaps inspire your own reflections. I would love to hear all of them. Feel free to reach out to me 🌼
Here's to a love for life and its many wonders.
